'Early lead lifts Cardinals over Wildcats'

Roland Michner - Running out of games to climb out of the basement of the Minor Midget A1 standings, the River Heights Cardinals set up for an early weekday match against the Park City West Wildcats this Tuesday. Riding an offensive burst on an early five minute powerplay, the Cardinals moved up a crucial two points in the standings. Park city was first to skate with the extra attacker but after going most of the two minutes without a shot a pass out from Travis Wiesner to Derrick Mclennan was easily stopped by Steven Murwski in the Cardinal goal. The Cardinals had their own trouble with their first powerplay and barely moved inside the Wildcat zone. Click here for full PDF article

Female Hockey Coach Certification Clinic - "We Are Coaches"

There will be a "We Are Coaches" clinic on February 15th at the MTS Centre.  This is open to all females (15+) who would like to get certified and interact with other women in a fun hockey atmosphere. This clinic is intended for all hockey backgrounds; whether current players, former players or hockey moms we encourage you to take part in this (FREE) special event. All attendees will be fully credited with the Coach Level certification and all participants receive lunch and 2 Manitoba Moose tickets.  Spots will be limited so register soon!
