Attention Players born in 1993-1995

Late registration for the AAA Conditioning Camp has been extended. If you are interested in attending, please call 784-5454 to obtain more information. Players born in 1996 will also have an opportunity to register in the 1993-1995 age group if they chose to do so. Unfortunately, all Goalie positions have been filled for the 1993-1995 and 1996 age groups.

'2010 Powersmart Winter Games'

 Winnipeg - This past March, for one week amateur athletes from all over the province of Manitoba were given the opportunity to compete for their respective regional areas in the 2010 Powersmart Manitoba Winter Games in Portage La Prairie. Male and female competitors in sporting events ranging from five pin bowling to hockey gathered together for one whirlwind week to test their medal against their counterparts from all over the province in a chance to showcase their abilities in their respective sport. Perhaps just as important, the athletes were taken out of their comfort zone and had the opportunity to experience a different style of competition where team building in an individual sport (and also in a regional sense) was imperative to success both inside and outside the field of competition. .Click here for full PDF article
Female Hockey - Join the Fun

Want to see what
female hockey has to offer? Come for a fun “Skate and Educate” at Varsity View
Sportsplex on August 31. There will be two sessions, one starting at 6:30 pm
and the other at 7:40 pm. Full equipment required. Enrolment is limited
to females 8 and under.

AAA Conditioning Camp

The
West Camp
will be held at the MTS
Iceplex, and the
East Camp
will be held at the Gateway
Recreation Centre. Both
camps will run August 23-28, 2010.
Weekday camp ice times at
MTS Iceplex
will be between 4:45 pm and 9:30 pm, while weekend ice times will be
between 8:45 am and 5:30 pm. Weekday camp ice times at Gateway
Recreation Centre will be between 4:45 pm and 9:30 pm, while weekend
ice times will be between 8:45 am and 5:30 pm.
Each
player will receive six (6)
hours of ice time.
Applications are accepted on a first come basis. Spots for each position are
limited. Groups for the camp will be divided into the following years of birth:
1993-1995, 1996, and
1997-1998.
This camp is
for conditioning purposes, and does not offer individual player instruction.
The camp will feature a combination of power skating, skill and tactical drills,
as well as controlled scrimmages.

Registration for
AAA Tryouts will be held at the Regent Avenue Canad Inns Casino Hotel for all
age categories. Registration date is Thursday, August 19, 2010 between the
hours of 7:00 and 9:00 P.M. Tryouts will be starting August 30, 2010.
